Apply to become a YEGO Guard

Become a YEGO Electoral Guard

Young Nigerians across the 36 states and the FCT are invited to apply as non-partisan citizen observers. Not to participate in politics, and not to police it. It takes about 10 minutes.

What you will need

Your NIN (11 digits)
A clear passport photograph — take one with your camera or upload (max 5 MB)
A reachable phone and WhatsApp number, and an email address
Your state, LGA and ward of residence

Who can apply

Nigerians aged 18–35 who will observe in the ward where they live, and who are not active in any political party or campaign.

After you apply

You get an Application ID on screen and by email/WhatsApp.
Confirm through the link we send — the application is incomplete until you do.
A reviewer screens your application; you may be called for a short interview.
If approved, you activate your guard portal and start the Academy.

Your NIN is encrypted and shown only to verification officers. See privacy.
