National reach

Coverage you can count. Literally

YEGO coordinates from the national secretariat through zonal, state, LGA and community structures, with reference geography for every ward in the Federation.

Read these figures carefully

Mapping is not strength on the ground

Reference geography and recruitment targets are different things. They are kept separate here, deliberately, so one is never mistaken for the other.

Opens with applications

Registered, verified, trained and deployed guards will be published here from live records once applications open, and only after YEGO communications approves the figures.

Live strength figures appear with Phase 2 (recruitment to certification). Until then this panel stays empty rather than showing numbers that are not real.

What the programme is built forThe national target is 300,000 Electoral Guards supported by 50,000 Master Trainers across 36 states and the FCT. Those are goals, not results.

A multi-stakeholder strategic coordination body comprising representatives of youth organisations, civil society and institutional partners. The Committee provides strategic guidance, facilitates institutional collaboration and stakeholder coordination, and supports the effective, credible and non-partisan implementation of the YEGO citizens observation and early-warning framework.

YEGO operates within applicable laws, electoral regulations and recognised observer standards, while respecting the independent mandates of INEC, security institutions and other public authorities.
