Man O' War Nigeria pledges nationwide support for YEGO 2027

Man O' War Nigeria has pledged its commitment to collaborate with the Youth Electoral Guards Observers (YEGO) initiative in strengthening electoral security synergies, promoting peaceful participation and preventing electoral violence ahead of Nigeria's 2027 General Elections.

The commitment followed a strategic collaboration meeting between the leadership of Man O' War Nigeria and the YEGO team as part of ongoing engagements to build a coordinated national framework for electoral peace and accountability.

During the engagement, Man O' War Nigeria expressed its readiness to leverage its reported nationwide network of over 200,000 disciplined personnel and structures to support YEGO's grassroots mobilisation, volunteer coordination and electoral peacebuilding efforts.

The initiative is preparing for its national flag-off and nationwide onboarding of over 300,000 young volunteers, to be mobilised as Electoral Accountability Ambassadors across Nigeria's 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

YEGO emphasises that the Electoral Accountability Ambassadors will serve as non-partisan volunteers committed to observing electoral developments, promoting peaceful participation, discouraging violence and reporting incidents through established verification and escalation channels.
